Head in the Clouds

When transitioning from oils to acrylics, I struggled with painting clouds, so I knew I needed practice. While working on another piece, I was practicing cloud techniques and stumbled upon this beautiful moment. The clouds turned out better than I expected, and I was so inspired by their softness and movement that I couldn’t resist adding trees to frame in the scene. Sometimes, when you let yourself get lost in the process, the magic just happens—and this piece was a perfect example of that. I learned to keep my head in the clouds!
