Last Light

This is one of my favorite pieces. It is an egg wash painting, which is a technique where you mix egg whites with powdered paint to get the desired hue and then you apply it to a canvas. This particular painting earned a Merit Award in a competition held at the Portland Museum of Art, where I was one of 300 artists who entered. It now hangs in my home, serving as a constant reminder that great achievements often begin with the simplest ideas.
