Pastel Sunset

Sunsets come in a stunning array of colors and moods—some dark and intense, others soft and tranquil. I painted this serene pastel scene while I was at the beach. This is a rare occurrence for me since I typically avoid painting outdoors due to the wind and the way things can get stuck in the wet paint. But this particular sunset was so inspiring, I could not resist capturing it in the moment.
