Shrimp Sky

I absolutely love working with both oil and acrylic paints, but I also have a special fondness for oil pastels. They can be quite messy, but the results are always worth it, turning out beautifully in the end!

This photo was taken during a trip I was on while helping my dad and a team of scientists with lobster larve research along the coast of Maine. Every evening, the sunsets over the water were simply breathtaking. This particular one I captured seemed to have shrimp dancing across the sky, a beautiful moment I had to preserve.
